Photo edges
When I first began shooting digital, back in 2004, I thought it’d be cool to add some old-fashioned ‘film’ edges to my images. I never saw any I liked, however, and that idea kind of faded away. This morning, while editing a set of engagement photos I shot a few days ago, I thought I’d see how some of them looked with those kinds of edges. A google search got me to a page that has 50 of them, royalty-free, so I’m posting a couple of them here. These images were taken near Brice Creek, about an hour southeast of Eugene, Oregon. The first image has a brushed border and the second image has a filmstrip border. I’m going to look at them again in a few days to see if they still look cool.
