Our Daily Bread is a restaurant in Veneta, Oregon. Formerly an old church, the building has been beautifully converted into a fine eating establishment and event venue. Most weddings at Our Daily Bread happen in the backyard area but this one, shot last weekend, took place entirely inside due to the cold, wet weather we normally get in November. I couldn’t pass up a chance to utilize the front of the building, however, and had pre-visualized this image before the wedding day even took place. Placing Naomi and James in the middle of the covered entryway, I was able to keep them dry and was also able to use the two hedges on either side as camouflage for my remote lights. What was a dark silhouette became a dramatic portrait. Nice!
