Wedding Party Improv
At this Denver wedding I shot a few weeks ago, the weather turned nasty at the last minute and everything (photos, ceremony, reception) had to take place indoors. I was glad I’d scouted out the venue beforehand and found this upstairs library; I knew this image was going to be a fun one. There was also a full-sized craps table which I used in some other wedding party photos. It’s important to have a backup plan in case of inclement weather, and to scout out a venue if you haven’t already shot there at least once before. I did both in this instance and it paid off later. We did do some outside photos late in the evening…when the snow was coming down!
