After the play was over the stadium announcer said “Welcome to football, Jonathan Lloyd.” Only in a scrimmage game would one expect to hear the announcer directly addressing a player on the field, during the game. The Ducks’ first-team offense looked great, as expected, and the crowd of 25k people cheered them on.
